Exchange automatically generates sales data for your listing based on your store's revenue for the past 12 months. If you notice that the revenue from your listing does not match other reports, it could be because of these reasons:
- Your listing's revenue data only shows full calendar months of revenue. The revenue is updated at the beginning of each month. So, if you list your store midway through the month, the sales you make during that month won't be reported until the beginning of the following month.
- Exchange takes only whitelisted sales into account when generating the sales graph for your store. Whitelisted sales are orders that Exchange is able to verify because they were processed through your store's checkout. These include sales made through: Online Store, POS, Draft Orders, Facebook, Houzz, Buy Button, Mobile App, Pinterest, Messenger, Amazon, ShopKey, Xero, and Frenzy.
Some apps force your customers to use a third-party checkout. Some of the most common apps that do this are Zipify, Orderimp, Recharge, Edit Order, Recurring Orders. If you make sales using these apps, Exchange cannot verify them.
Exchange is not able to edit the revenue data in your listing. It's best to include screenshots of your sales reports in your listing if the Exchange revenue charts are inaccurate.
